The Showcase Plant Assortments

   Yes, we can send you violets through the mail. We've been doing it successfully since 1980. We can ship May through October weather permitting. These will be starter violets in 2 1/4" pots. They will not be in bloom.  Keep them growing in their little pots for a few months after you receive them - at least until they are 8" across. Then move them on into a 3" pot. Assuming the light is sufficiently bright keeping them in a small pot will start them blooming sooner for you. Eventually the plants should grow larger and need larger pots.

     We offer two different sized assortments: 6 plants and 12 plants. The pot and soil will be wrapped in plastic, and the plant and pot will then be fastened inside a cardboard tube. You will receive notification from us just before we send out your plants. Orders are sent out via Priority Mail.  Each assortment will be made up of different varieties of standard sized starter violets. We will select them from our available stock at the time your order arrives.   We will choose an assortment of different leaf types and blossom colors in each shipment. All plants will be husky, well rooted, named varieties in 2 1/4" pots. Also included will be a list describing the varieties you are receiving.  Our shipping season usually runs from approximately May 1st through late October and is stopped over the winter.

     We are at an elevation of 5280 feet and winter can arrive early and with little warning.

 We send out growing supplies (pots, soil etc.) year round.
